In my previous posts I opined about the blog/eCommerce interface and said that was the primary consideration. In those posts I neglected one aspect: Events.
I use this website to publish our upcoming events The app I use accommodates this well as it automatically lists them chronologically. The challenge is getting them in the posts, but not in the pages, such as the products listings or carts. The position I prefer is in a column to the right of the posts. I’ve found it challenging to execute that in many of the theme iterations I’ve tried.
Practically, what that means is that I am going to have to launch a theme with many of the features I desire, and play with the page layouts to execute the layouts I want.
What it means for the viewing audience, of what little there is, is that you will have to bear with me as I work out those layouts. I ask for your indulgence in advance.
